Teacher Spotlight

Lea Bosse

Lea contributed to the development of our health course and has produced several of the unit studies we offer; however, around here she is best known as our ACT tutor.

Lea earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from The Ohio State University, but she should have ventured into an education degree! Lea homeschooled her three children and has been teaching and tutoring in the homeschooling community for over 20 years. Helping students reach their true potential is a deep passion of hers!

Line dancing, photography, hiking, Monarch butterfly tagging, and spending time with family and friends are the activities she enjoys when she's not busy filling students with encouragement! Be sure to stop and say hi if you catch sight of her along a trail in one of our amazing National Parks!

Contact Lea at lea@fundafunda.com

"Lea is an amazing tutor! She helped me to learn and understand every subject. She was able to give individualized instruction that I would not have gotten through my school's ACT prep course. She took my weakest scores and turned them into my highest. Timing was an issue for me and she gave me techniques to overcome this issue. My ACT score was raised considerably after my tutoring with Lea. I greatly appreciate the effort and encouragement!"
